France’s Highest Court Challenges Country’s Sports Betting Monopoly

France’s highest appeals court has challenged the country's monopoly on sports betting by overturning a ban on the Maltese online betting firm Zeturf. The court, Cour de Cessation, argued that such a monopoly can only be justified as part of a crime prevention initiative.
